Newsletter 2 of LearnArch provides insights into the collaborative journey of creating an innovative teaching tool for architecture learning. With the project co-funded by the European Union under Erasmus+, the consortium, consisting of NEA from Romania, Dracon Rules Design Studio from Greece, and COFAC – University Lusofona from Portugal, aims to revolutionize architectural education.
The journey begins with brainstorming ideas and setting clear goals, followed by extensive research to identify the most effective game mechanics. The creation of intricate 3D models brings these ideas to life, culminating in the production of real prototypes through advanced 3D printing technology. Iterative testing and refinement ensure the game meets its educational objectives and provides an engaging learning experience.
The culmination of these efforts will be a live game test in Lisbon, Portugal, with 18 participants. This event represents a significant milestone in the project, showcasing the collaborative efforts of the team and the realization of their vision. Despite the challenges faced along the way, witnessing the transformation of their ideas into tangible outcomes has made every moment of the journey worthwhile.
As the project progresses, LearnArch invites followers to stay updated on the rest of the story of the board game creation, promising further insights into the innovative approaches and collaborative spirit driving this transformative endeavor.
