Newsletter 1 introduces LearnArch, a groundbreaking project funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, focused on reshaping architectural education. The consortium consists of three organizations: NEA (Asociatia North Eastern Architect) from Romania, Dracon Rules Design Studio from Greece, and COFAC – University Lusofona from Portugal. With expertise in innovation, education, architecture, and board games, these partners aim to create an engaging and interactive learning environment for adult trainers in architecture.
LearnArch’s primary objective is to develop a teaching tool that enhances training routines and fosters a deeper understanding of architectural concepts among learners. Through collaboration and innovative approaches, the project seeks to revolutionize the way architecture is taught and learned.
The Kick-off meeting, held in Iasi, Romania, from March 29-30, 2023, marked the beginning of this transformative journey. During this Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), the consortium members gathered to initiate and manage the project effectively. The meeting served as a pivotal moment, laying the groundwork for collaboration, planning, and shared vision among the partners.
As the project progresses, LearnArch aims to leverage the expertise of its partners to develop innovative educational tools that meet the evolving needs of architecture education. Through strategic collaboration and a commitment to excellence, LearnArch endeavors to make a lasting impact on architectural education across Europe and beyond.
